Christmas is coming to the menu on Friday 27th November.
Alongside our usual daily menu, we’ll also be serving our Christmas Fayre Menu throughout the week, giving you even more choice when dining with us over the Christmas season.Whether you're joining us for a Christmas get-together, a meal with family and friends or simply fancy something a little more seasonal, there’s plenty to choose from.

Christmas Wreath Making
Wednesday 2nd December
Join us for an evening of wreath making with Jodie from Petals & Pine.
Jodie will guide you through creating your own beautiful Christmas wreath, with everything you need provided on the evening. Your ticket includes all wreath-making materials, plus a glass of fizz on arrival to enjoy while you get creative.
Whether you're looking to add something special to your own front door or fancy an evening of creativity with friends, it's the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Market
Saturday 5th December
Our Christmas Market returns with a wonderful selection of local makers and independent businesses setting up their stalls in a marquee in the paddock, directly across from the pub.
It’s always one of the most popular dates in our Christmas calendar, so come along, browse the stalls, pick up some unique gifts and enjoy a festive morning with us. Brunch will be served in the pub from 10am until 1pm, with our usual menu available from 12pm for those staying on for lunch.

Christmas Pub Walk
Saturday 12th December
Pull on your Christmas jumpers, dress up your four-legged friends and join us for our Christmas Pub Walk on Saturday 12th December.
We’ll meet at 10:45am in the pub, where you can grab a breakfast sandwich and a hot drink before we set off at 11:15am for a winter walk through the local countryside. Our walks usually last around 1–1½ hours, making them a great way to get some fresh air, enjoy the countryside and spend time with fellow walkers and their four-legged friends.
Christmas outfits are encouraged for both humans and dogs, with a prize up for grabs for the best-dressed dog! If you have any accessibility requirements or would like to find out more about the walk, please get in touch with the team before booking.

Christmas Quiz
Sunday 13th December
Put your Christmas knowledge to the test with our Christmas Quiz.
Gather your team and get ready for 10 rounds of 5 questions, covering a mix of topics to see who can come out on top. Teams can have a maximum of 6 people, so round up your cleverest friends and get your thinking caps on!
Fancy something to eat before the quiz? We recommend booking a table for 6pm so you can enjoy dinner before the questions begin at 8pm. Book your table, bring your team and see if you’ve got what it takes to be crowned Christmas Quiz champions!

Christmas Carols and Jumper Competition
Wednesday 16th December ~ 7pm
Join us for an evening of Christmas carols, good company and plenty of Christmas jumpers!
Our local church choir will be joining us for an evening of carols, singing some of our favourite Christmas songs and helping us get into the Christmas spirit.
And, of course, no Christmas jumper evening would be complete without a competition! Dig out your most spectacular Christmas jumper for the chance to win a prize for the best… and the worst jumper!
Come along, sing along and show us what you’ve got in the Christmas jumper department!
Christmas Day
Friday 25th December

Join us this Christmas Day for a festive tipple! We’ll be open from 11:30am to 1:30pm, serving drinks and Christmas cheer. A perfect chance to raise a glass with friends and neighbours before the celebrations continue at home.

Not quite Christmas, not quite New Year… so why not join us for another quiz?
Come along for our Christmas Limbo Quiz, the perfect excuse to get out of the house, round up your friends and put your general knowledge to the test. Whether you've had enough of Christmas TV, need a break from the leftovers or simply fancy a night out, we've got you covered. Teams can have up to 6 people, so gather your crew, grab a drink and get ready for a night of questions, laughs and a little friendly competition.
Fancy some food before the quiz? Food tables to book for 6pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy dinner before the quiz gets underway. The perfect excuse for a night out during that strange little lull between Christmas and New Year.

New Year's Eve
Thursday 31st December ~ Evening ticketed event £95pp
Still deciding how to see out the year? Join us at The Swan for an evening of great food, live entertainment and plenty of reasons to raise a glass. We’ll be serving our usual lunch menu from 12pm–4:30pm, before pausing food service in the afternoon as we get ready for the evening. The pub will remain open for drinks throughout.
From 6:30pm, we’ll be welcoming in the New Year in true Swan style, with welcome drinks and canapés on arrival, followed by a 6-course menu and live entertainment from 'The Band Of Covers.' Whether you're joining us for the full evening or stopping by for a drink earlier in the day, we'd love to see you.
Getting home: We have a taxi available to book for the evening, charged separately from your New Year's Eve ticket. Please enquire with the team for further details and availability.

New Year's Pub Walk
